This Cookie Policy explains how AIBETTINGTIPS (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on aibetting.tips (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to give the site's operator information about how the site is used. “Similar technologies” — such as local storage, software development kits and pixels — can store or read information on your device in comparable ways. In this policy we refer to all of these simply as “cookies”.
2. How we use cookies
We keep our use of cookies deliberately limited. AIBETTINGTIPS has no user accounts and no login, so we do not use cookies to build a profile of you or to identify you personally. We use them to:
- make the Site load, function and stay secure;
- remember basic display preferences, such as your chosen interface language and odds format;
- understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site so that we can improve it;
- and, where relevant, measure the traffic we send to our bookmaker partners.
3. Categories of cookies we use
The cookies used on the Site fall into the categories below. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the Site cannot function securely without them. All other categories are only used where you have given consent.
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the Site to load, route traffic and stay secure. These cannot be switched off. | Content delivery, load balancing and bot/security protection (Cloudflare). | Not required |
| Functionality & preferences | Remember choices you make so the Site behaves the way you expect on your next visit. | Interface language preference; odds-format preference. Stored locally on your device — see section 4. | Not required |
| Analytics & performance | Help us understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used — which pages are visited and where visitors come from — so we can improve it. | Third-party web-analytics services. | Required |
| Targeting & affiliate | Measure the traffic we refer to bookmaker partners. May be set by those partners once you reach their websites. | Affiliate-tracking cookies set by linked bookmakers. | Required |
Note: the exact cookie names and lifespans depend on the third-party tools in use and may change as those tools are updated. Most browsers let you inspect the cookies a site has actually stored on your device — see section 6.
4. Preferences stored on your device
For everyday functionality, the Site stores a small amount of information directly in your browser's local storage rather than in traditional cookies. Currently this is limited to your preferred interface language and your preferred odds format. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us as a personal identifier, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties rather than by us directly:
- Cloudflare provides content delivery and security for the Site and may set strictly necessary cookies.
- The third-party analytics service we use may set analytics cookies if you consent to them.
- Bookmakers you reach through links on the Site may set their own cookies once you arrive on their websites. Those cookies are governed by each bookmaker's own cookie and privacy policies, which we do not control.
6. Your choices and managing cookies
When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, allow only the strictly necessary ones, or open a preferences panel to choose category by category. No analytics or targeting cookie is set until you have made that choice. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — either with the button below, or from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
You can also manage cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you see which cookies are stored, block them, or delete them. Helpful step-by-step guides for each major browser are available at aboutcookies.org and allaboutcookies.org. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working correctly.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to it, so the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We will update this policy if that changes.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, the cookies we use, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when the most recent version took effect.
9. Contact us
If you have any questions about this Cookie Policy, please contact us at [email protected]. The Site is run by the team behind AIBETTINGTIPS.
